iCloud Photo Stream and Instagram 2.0…perfect together
As Apple prepares to release its eagerly anticipated iCloud Photo Stream, there was more good news for photo lovers earlier this week as the guys at Instagram released an updated version of their hugely popular app for the iPhone. Not wanting to mess with a product that is enjoyed by millions of people, Instagram 2.0 keeps what we love about the original release – namely the ability to add awesome filters that make our photos look fantastic and then share the photos with others.
Instagram – in with the new
But Instagram 2.0 has some great new features as well. In addition to adding more filters, the 2.0 version offers dramatic speed improvements as well as “live filtering,” which allows us to see what pictures will look like with different filters before we take the picture. What many consider the coolest app for the iPhone just became easier and more powerful to use.
Instagram 2.0 and iCloud Photo Stream are changing the game
But that’s only the beginning. Any day now, when Apple releases iCloud Photo Stream, we will have the ability to view those amazing Instagram photos wherever we want. When we take a picture on our iPhone it will be automatically transferred by iCloud Photo Stream to any and all devices we choose.
It’s astounding to think what we are now able to do. We can literally create professional quality slide shows with no effort at all. Simply use your iPhone to take a picture; apply an Instagram filter to make it look amazing, and let iCloud Photo Stream do the work of transferring the photos to your iPad. And those images will look better than ever on your iPad because Instagram 2.0 photos are saved at resolutions more than 3x higher than the previous version.
Add a miFrame to Instagram and iCloud Photo Stream for best results
Armed with the photos you want, on the device you want, all that remains is to set up your iPad in the best possible manner. Placing your iPad in the miFrame dock will give you a beautiful and flexible viewing station. The miFrame , which looks like an elegant picture frame, will charge your iPad while providing a protective base that can be placed anywhere in your home or office.
The experience of viewing our photos will never be the same. With Instagram, iCloud Photo Stream, and our iPad in the miFrame, we now have an effortless solution that was unimaginable just a couple of years ago.
